Pack Central Tournament- Holiday-themed competition with mascots?

Brought this up on our WolfQuest thread- four pack teams choose their mascot (if they don't have one already) and participate in a holiday-themed contest. Need ideas on our pack mascot, what kind of holiday-themed contest we could do, and what packs would be willing to participate.

Hrm.. for Mascot it would be nice to have a mascot other than a wolf... since we are the Free Spirits Pack how about our mascot being a Spirit (Kermode) Bear?

Yesss, its an actual animal. Endangered in fact, according to some article we read in class (can't show you all-sorry!)

Falcon - represents freedom and spirit (which goes along with the 'free spirits' idea).^^

Ahem.
I was thinking of using an Owl.
Owls are great creatures, and represent Wisdom, Skill and Arts. There where also some other research, that a friend of mine had found in which the Owl also represents Creativity. But, haven't been able to find where she found the page (stupid search engines >_>).
